Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow (1978)
is the classic kung fu masterpiece starring superstar Jackie Chan (Police Story, Rumble in the Bronx, Dragon Fist).

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, a 200-year old deadly clan known as the Eagle Claw Society has wiped-out all other styles of martial arts, except for the legendary Snake Fist style.
The Grand Master of Eagle Claw is obsessed with finding – and killing – the remaining members of the Snake Fist school.
Meanwhile, the wise, elderly Snake Fist Grand Master is busy in hiding, teaching a young, overworked servant (Jackie Chan) his awesome, super-fast lightning moves.
An action-packed showdown is inevitable, but will the newest member of the Snake Fist school be any match for the evil Grand Master of Eagle Claw?

This star-making film was the first to feature Jackie Chan’s trademark mix of comedy and mind-blowing martial arts action.
It also marked the historic first collaboration between Jackie and director Yuen Woo Ping (who would later go on to oversee the action choreography for The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon).

A landmark film in martial arts cinema, where Jackie Chan emerged following the death of Bruce Lee and made his presence known, see a rare screening of this classic film.
