Coming Soon… we’re presenting Big Trouble in Little China (1986), in 70mm.

A definitive cult classic from iconic director John Carpenter (Halloween), Big Trouble in Little China takes us to the streets of San Francisco’s Chinatown, where loud-mouthed truck driver Jack Burton (Kurt Russell) finds himself caught up in a supernatural conflict, when his friend’s fiancee is kidnapped to be married to a 2000 year old evil spirit named Lo Pan.

Jack reluctantly leaps to the rescue – cue martial arts, bullets, monsters and one-liners, as he battles to save the world from evil, and hopefully get his truck back.

Following Escape from New York (1981) and The Thing (1982), John Carpenter and Kurt Russell re-united for a film which the director described as an – “action adventure comedy kung-fu ghost story monster movie“.

A rare opportunity to see this one-of-a-kind, genre-bending film, in 70mm.
